Gangadhar finds Laxmibai in a temple. He begs Laxmibai to return to the palace and take part in the celebrations at the palace. He asks her if she does not want to meet the bride. Laxmibai agrees to come to the palace. Laxmibai is in tears when she sees the bride. Gangadhar asks her if she agrees to the marriage.
